Spring has sprung!!!

God bless you all. I know it’s been a while since our last post but we are in full swing here at Bo’s Farm.

Our Tilapia are averaging 10-12 inches in length and around 2 inches thick. Nice clean fish supplying their nutrients to our aquaponics system. We have our favorite salanova green and red leaf lettuce growing in there. They will get serving bagged once harvested.

We are sad to say that the harsh storms we had at the beginning of the year resulted in all of our plastic being blown off our tunnel house. Not to worry, we have our pots full of veggies and have started harvesting our pickling cucumbers, kale and now our yellow squash. Pickles are soon to follow.

Our hot peppers, bell peppers and tomatoes are coming along nicely. We did lose some pepper plants over the winter. Better preparation needed on my side.

We have been watching our third grandson grow in front of our eyes and will get to see him in person soon.
